I would not buy this item again now that I've seen it. I've used it once, and it hasn't broken yet, but even though I handle it ver y carefully, I feel as though it's just a matter of time before this thing breaks. I loaded it up with 28 duck eggs (it's supposed to handle 41) & it felt like it was going to break from the weight of the eggs. Approximate capacity without automatic eggturner is 46 chicken eggs, 118 quail eggs, 90 pheas-ant eggs, 40 turkey or duck eggs. Apart from the motor, everything is built of a lightweight & brittle-feeling plastic. Comescomplete with thermometer, solid state thermostat,and built-in moisture rings in the base of the incuba-tor. With shipping & the exchange rate, this item ended up costing me about CA$120, but after seeing the build quality I would say it's worth about CA$30 at the most, so I'm not too impressed with the item.
I chose this egg turner partly because I thought it was made in the USA (which I tend to equate with good quality items), but it turned out to be made in China like most of the others. I thought I was going to break it just taking it out of the box.
